OUR MISSION
To make the community surrounding Alleluia Better Chance Diaper Closet safer and healthier for the young children by providing diaper assistance to those in need.
Alleluia Better Chance Diaper Closet started as a ministry of Alleluia Lutheran Church in March 2015 assisting 10 children under the age of 3 with diapers. In 2022, the ministry had grown to serving 110 children on a monthly basis, impacting about 90 families. The volunteers of the Diaper Closet applied and were granted a 502(c)3 status so the ministry could continue as a stand alone ministry into the future.
Currently, the volunteers of the Diaper Closet continue to serve an average of 120-150 children aged Newborn to 3 yrs. old each month, providing a two-week supply of diapers and wipes. The 90-110 families served each month are at poverty or under poverty level income. The children served are Hispanic, Asian, Black, Native American and Caucasian.
Alleluia Better Chance Diaper Closet is managed and staffed solely by volunteers. New volunteers are always welcome. If interested in volunteering, please contact us.
Support of the Diaper Closet is provided by donations from individuals, church organizations and grants. Monetary donations of any size are accepted. In addition, diapers and wipes are accepted. Please contact us for information on making a diaper donation.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Diaper Distributions take place on the third Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to noon.

Alleluia Better Chance Diaper Closet is a fully volunteer organization. The Closet relies on donations from individuals and organizations who support our mission. No funds are received from any state or federal programs. All donations, whether large or small, are greatly appreciated. Donations are tax-deductible. Donations can be made directly to the organization or for Thrivent members, the donations can be made through Thrivent Dollars. Let us know if you have any questions.
